There is a current under tone of string pulling here from Israel, regarding the world view on Iran and it’s escalating in its negativity.
I am stunned to see that people are so blind to it, any mention of the issue and you get branded anti semantic, well blatantly I’m not, so this is my perspective on the situation, and you know what, if you love humanity, and the planet more than money, consumption and materialism I know that you’ll have already joined the dots.
Unfortunately due to media censorship and ownership over the news that is available to us, as demonstrated by the disgusting removal of Press TV from Sky on Friday; the majority of the ‘mainstream’ are either unaware or indifferent. They have either not noticed or believe the information that is fed to them by the big media outlets, who let’s face it are in the control of Rupert Murdoch both directly and indirectly, with his company’s owning routers and the associated press. So many journalists these days simply rehash press releases to in order to simply get an article out there with no real content.
So you get my point….
Israel, a big purchaser of weapons, with a defence force that kills Palestine Semites, (on a daily basis) the world’s biggest bully and manipulator of public opinion has so many people fooled.
Obviously the wonderful bastions of integrity, empathy and morality Obama and Cameron get their hackles up like some dirty alley cat, at the mention of Iran, shouting about nuclear weapons, when there’s no evidence of such.
So let me ask this question to these immoral war mongers, why the hell can’t they have nuclear weapons? We have them, America has them and oh, so does Israel.
For those of you that haven’t noticed there’s a war brewing at the moment between the ‘West’ and Iran, instigated by America and Israel in their best impression of the racist, islamophobic playground bullys who want to use all the space, and be in ‘charge’.
It’s pathetic that the people that supposedly represent us are unable to put respect and gratitude at the heart of their actions. Israel is like the blood thirsty bruiser of the gang, violently attacking people for no reason, other than their greed, control and paranoia issues. Angry, and unable to see or feel happiness and positivity from others around them, traumatised by some previous event, ultimately bullying others for revenge and some kind of sick pleasure. America and the UK the body guards of the brute, hanging around to protect him should anyone try to defend themselves against his actions.
Over the last few weeks American troop numbers have been building in Israel in preparation for attacks on Iran and Syria.
These muppets want us to believe that Iran is a threat, now let’s be serious, really, when was the last time Iran dropped bombs or invaded another country, it seems like ‘we’ (Israel, America and UK) are much more threatening, and a greater risk to humanity and the planet given our track record over the last fifty years.
Just also to make it clear, I’m referring to these governments and not the citizens as I know that there are amazing people in Israel being oppressed for trying to change things. This is about the governments that do not represent us.

News websites commonly show a negative image of Israeli army practice. Human shield use among other war crimes accusations. If it wasn’t reported you wouldn’t know about it. A friend of mine works in Reuters and I promise you she would not write pro-Israeli articles.
Israel is seen by ‘the west’ as stable, ‘one of us’ so we overlook human rights violations. This thinking comes because we are culturally similar, while Arab states suffer from fear the different. We don’t understand how Iranian’s think, they are too different and therefore they must be a threat to us. But I don’t believe it’s because of propaganda.
But we mustn’t paint the Israelis as the bad guys either; they are just as much victims. I have met ex-Israeli Defence Force members, and people who fled their home to avoid conscription. The Defence Force is unique because its members are basically children, who finish scarred for life. The root cause of the problem, however, is the same with all armed forces an institutional belief that killing solves problems. An ‘Irani defence force’ would be no different.. or you or me for that matter. War and mistrust fuel themselves; the only way to stop a war is stop killing people.
It is too easy to create a big bad guy in your mind like in a comic book but the truth is that none of us are always right. In order to defeat your enemy whether it is Israel or Iran first we must understand them and then call them friends.
Martin this blog is speaking about the actions of Israel as a terrorist state acknowledged by the UN and also under international law.
Please don’t start with the Romans took it from them first etc.
The examples here are too numerous. You’ll mention Hamas in your next reply but more Israelis die from peanut allergies than from Hamas rockets. People know this now too.
No one is presuming that all Israeli’s agree with the actions of their govenrment.
Your comment about Iranian’s being ‘different’ is contradicting your later statement suggesting we regard and view each other as friends.

This conversation won’t matter anyway. People are wise now as to the state of affairs regarding the role of Israel in the region. Its not about her right to defend herself, when she is a military superpower with America backing her up. Its about the fact that she is expanding illegally. People know the facts now anyway. You’re reading things I didn’t write, I never mentioned Romans and I will only mention Hamas to say I wouldn’t have mentioned them until you did. I did like your fact about peanuts though.. did you know more people are killed by falling coconuts than by sharks?
When I said Iranians are different I meant how they are seen culturally, “we consider them too different” or “they seem different” might have been more accurate. Obviously everyone is different and we cannot generalize I was attempting to explain why we ally with Israel instead of Iran.. obviously in Afganistan the Mujadeen were considered allies against communism.. things change.
My point was there is no propaganda machine. News reaches us of Israel’s human rights violations. But Israel is not the bad guy any more than I am or you are they are just people like us. They think they are doing the right thing, they honestly believe they are just defending themselves and they certainly don’t see the US as an ally. The isreali soldiers I met had been fighting in Lebanon.. and they seemed pretty messed up.. suffering from the war. I was trying to express my opposition to military force used in any situation but especially conscription. Because you can see in the article I posted what hapens when 18 year olds are given guns and told: “all our neighbouring countries are our enemies and want to kill us and our entire race.”
I want the fighting to stop.. I think negative images of Israelis are just as damaging as negative images of Palestinians. It perpetuates fighting which causes suffering on both sides. Any solution must be peacefull. Making Israel the bad guy justifies fighting, fring rockets or whatever.
Martin let me be clear. I am referring to the actions of the state of Israel, the government. I agree with much of what you say. I don’t think the ideology of Zionism is compatible with Judaism.
